Artist researcher, university lecturer and cultural manager, guided by listening as a critical practice and a driving force of creation. Her academic background weaves together music, mathematics, photography, sound engineering and programming. Shie holds a Master’s in Technology and Aesthetics of Electronic Arts from UNTREF (Argentina).

Her practice positions sound as both a material and conceptual device to reflect on the socio-technical effects between our bodies and its environments. Through site-specific actions, artifacts and technopoetic installations, she develops modes of active and embodied listening that challenge the relationships between technology, perception and society.

She co-founded cultural management and production spaces conceived as platforms for experimentation—action and thought: ESPACIO 404, at the intersection of art and technology, and SONORAMA, grounded in the philosophy of listening. She participates in diverse collaborative projects critically exploring intersections between art, technology and society, including Subaltern Geopoetics, HICCUP, Mestizo Robotics, and Contra el soundscape, Listening Biennial.

Since 2014, she has coordinated the academic program of the Master’s in Electronic Arts (MAE UNTREF), guiding learning processes through research-creation methodologies. She also facilitates artistic mentories and curatorial processes in residency programs such as R.A.R.O..

She has received support from the British Council, FNA, Fondo Metropolitano, ArtCenter South Florida, and Cryptic. In 2024, she joined the cohort of the Art, Science, and Technology Program Presente Continuo (Fundación Andreani, Williams, Bunge y Born, CCEBA). Since 2013, her work has been exhibited in local and international venues.
