Fragmentos de conversaciones con empleados de campos de tiro en Hialeah, Florida:

The field research for this project was conducted in December 2017 at several shooting ranges in Hialeah, Florida.

Located in the northwest corner of Miami-Dade County on the edge of the Everglades, Hialeah has always been something of a local frontier. Just as it housed underground distilleries during Prohibition, it was also notorious for the proliferation of firearms manufacturing and assembly plants and their associated gun shops, which effectively pressured the City Council against local regulations.

Today, it boasts at least three shooting ranges and several gun shops and pawn shops that also sell firearms. The shooting ranges are popular with the predominantly Cuban population and are often crowded. They do not require proof of identity or skill to rent and fire a firearm.
