The remnant-sound, the residue left by the habits of a grammatised listening, is for me like a mass—a material charged with folds, textures and filaments that sets somatic exchanges in motion.

In conversation with this residue of my listening—and in critical alliance with the technical objects that have shaped our perception since the onset of modernity—these four technological mediations emerge.

Technopoetic assemblages driven by the desire to cultivate other forms of listening. Other techniques, other procedures: parasitic listenings, atmospheric listenings.

Might we, through these prostheses, cleave—if only fleetingly—the industry of perception and allow listening to overflow its assigned boundaries?
